Die Erfindung betrifft cis-Tetrahydro-spiro(cyclohexan-1,1'-pyrido[3,4-b]indol)-4-amin-Deriva- te, welche auf das Nociceptin/ORL-1-Rezeptorsystem sowie auf das μ-Opioid-Rezeptorsystem wirken und sich insbesondere durch eine selektive Wirksamkeit bei der Behandlung von chronischem Schmerz (u.a. Entzündungsschmerz, viszeralem Schmerz, Tumorschmerz, bevorzugt neuropathischem Schmerz) auszeichnen, ohne gleichzeitig eine ausgeprägte Wirksamkeit bei akutem, nociceptivem Schmerz zu entfalten.
