    The present invention refers to the use as flavour or fragrance of a compound of formula (I) wherein R 4 is hydrogen and the bond between C-3 and C-4 is a single bond or the dotted line together with the bond between C-3 and C-4 represents a double bond; or R 4 is methylene, forming with C-3 and C-4 a cyclopropane ring; R 3 is hydrogen, C 1 , C 2 , C 3 , C 4 , C 5 , C 6 alkyl, or C 2 , C 3 , C 4 , C 5 , C 6 alkenyl; and I) R 1 and R 2 together with the carbon atom to which they are attached form a carbonyl group; or II) R 1 is hydroxyl and R 2 is selected from C 1 , C 2 , C 3 alkyl, and C 2 , C 3 , C 4 alkenyl.
