  Abstract L'acide méthyl‐7‐octadiène‐2,6‐oïque (acide apo‐géranique) est préparé. Sa cyclisation fournit l'acide trans diméthyl‐1,1‐cyclohexanol‐3‐carboxylique‐2 qui est l'hydrate de l'acide apo‐cyclogéranique attendu. Les esters et acides cis‐ et trans‐diméthyl‐cyclohexanol‐3‐carboxylique‐2 sont préparés à partir de la diméthyl‐1,1‐carboxéthyl‐2‐cyclohexanone‐3. L'apo‐cyclogéraniol, l'apo‐cyclocitral et l'acide apocyclogéranique sont préparés sous forme d'isomères purs ou de mélanges d'isomères.

  A novel ester of (+) 6-methoxy-a-methyl-2-naphthalene acetic acid is described. Such ester is obtained by reaction of the (+) 6-methoxy-a-methyl-2-naphthalene acetic acid chloride as prepared by a well known technique, with (-) α4,α4-dimethyl-1-cyclohexene- 1,4-dimethanol. There are further described pharmaceutic compositions having mucosecretolytic, anti-inflammatory analgesic and anti-pyretic activity, which contain the novel ester.
