The present invention provides a method for easily producing glycopeptides which are useful as a material for scientific studies, medicaments and foodstuffs. Said glycopeptides can be produced by coupling a fluorinated glycoside of a monosaccharide or an oligosaccharide of the formula (I) with an amino acid or a peptide and then deprotecting the resultant by hydrogenation, and the sequential glycopeptide of the formula (IV) can be produced by polycondensation of said glycopeptide.
