  (EN) New herbicidal picolinamide derivatives are described with general formula (I), in which Z represents an oxygen or sulphur atom, R1 and R2 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkaryl, hydroxy, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkynyloxy, alkylcarbonyl, amino, mono- or di-alkylamino, alkoxycarbonylamino, arylamino, arylalkylamino or dialkylcarbamoyl group, or together represent an alkylene chain which is optionally interrupted by an oxygen or sulphur atom or by a group -NR- in which R represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, R3 or each R3 independently represents a halogen atom or an alkyl or haloalkyl group, R4, R5 and R6 each independently represents a hydrogen or halogen atom, an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkaryl, alkoxy, amino, mono- or di-alkylamino, alkoxycarbonylamino, arylamino, dialkylcarbamoyl, acyl or acylamido group or a cyano group, with the proviso that R5 and R6 do not represent an acyl, acylamido or cyano group, and n represents 0, 1, 2 or 3. The invention further relates to the preparation of the above mentioned picolinamides, intermediates prepared during the synthesis of these compounds, compositions containing the compounds and their use as herbicides for the control of undesired plant growth.(FR) Nouveaux dérivés de picolinamide herbicides de formule (I). Dans cette formule Z représente un atome d'oxygène ou de soufre; R1 et R2 représentent indépendamment un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle, alcényle, alcynyle, cycloalkyle, cycloalkylalkyle, aryle, aralkyle, alcaryle, hydroxy, alcoxy, alcényloxy, alcynyloxy, alkylcarbonyle, amino, monolakylamino ou dialkylamino, alcoxycarbonylamino, arylamino, arylakylamino ou dialkylcarbamoyle facultativement substitué, ou bien R1 et R2 représentent ensemble une chaîne alkylène qui est facultativement interrompue par un atome d'oxygène ou de soufre ou par un groupe -NR- dans lequel R représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle; R3 ou chaque R3 représente indépendamment un atome d'halogène ou un groupe alkyle ou haloalkyle; R4, R5 et R6 représentent chacun indépendamment un atome d'hydrogène ou d'halogène, un groupe alkyle, alcényle, alcynyle, cycloalkyle, cycloalkylalkyle, aryle, aralkyle, alcaryle, alcoxy, amino, monoalkylamino ou dialkylamino, alcoxycarbonylamino, arylamino, dialkylcarbamoyle, acyle ou acylamido facultativement substitué ou un groupe cyano, à condition que R5 et R6 ne représentent pas un groupe acyle, acylamido ou cyano et que n représente 0, 1, 2 ou 3. Cette invention concerne également la préparation des picolinamides, des intermédiaires préparés pendant la synthèse de ces composés, des compositions contenant lesdits composés et leur utilisation comme herbicides servant à réguler la croissance de plantes indésirables.
