  Amide compounds have glutamate receptor-­inhibiting activity and having the formula: (wherein R₁ and R₂ each is hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an acyl group, or is a cyclic amino group, m is an integer of 1 to 3, n is an integer of 0 to 4, x is an integer of 2 to 6 and y is an integer of 0 to 3) or salts thereof, are provided.
