  The Ni atom in the title compound, [Ni(C7H13OCS2)(2)], lies on an inversion centre and adopts square-planar coordination geometry defined by the four S atoms of the two dithiocarbonato (xanthate) ligands. The lengths of the two independent Ni-S bonds are equal [2.205 (1) Angstrom].
