  The present application provides a hair straightening or hair styling composition of a hybrid graft polymer and at least one carrier. The hybrid graft polymer is derived from (i) a funetionalized or unfunctionalized cellulose moiety and at least one funetionalized or unfunctionalized acryloyl moiety; or (ii) a funetionalized or unfunctionalized galaetomannan moiety and at least one funetionalized or unfunctionalized acryloyl moiety.
