An efficient cascade methodology toward chemoselective synthesis of N-fused heterocycles including 9H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole, 3H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole and 1H-pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole derivatives has been developed.
