Potassium fluoride reacts in triethyleneglycol (TEG) on β-fluoro-γ,δ-unsaturated p-toluenesulfonates to give 2-fluoroalka-1,3-dienes (HOTs elimination) and the corresponding difluoroolefins (substitution of O-tosyl group by fluorine).
