Methods for reducing a viscosity of a viscosified fluid include reacting, such as by depolymerizing and/or decomposing, a polymeric material of the viscosified fluid with a breaking agent including a fully coordinated transition metal compound, such as a strongly complexed fully-coordinated transition metal compound. The methods of treating the subterranean are provided that include reacting, such as by depolymerizing and/or decomposing, a polymeric material of a viscosified treatment fluid with a fully coordinated transition metal compound, such as a strongly complexed fully-coordinated transition metal compound, to facilitate breaking of the viscosified treatment fluid after the fracturing or treatment is finished.
The invention is related to a shaped body, wherein the shaped body (1, 15) is a solid body made of a porous material comprising metal-organic framework material and having a form of a polyhedron with six lateral faces (3), wherein a length (22) of one edge (5, 17) of the polyhedron differs from a length (22) of any other edge (5, 17) of the polyhedron by 10% or less and wherein all angles between two adjacent edges and adjacent lateral faces are between 85° and 95°. The invention is further related to a packing (25, 29, 33) and use of the shaped body (1, 15).

The present invention relates to porous films comprising (A) from 51 wt.-% to 99.9 wt.-% based on the total weight of the film of at least one porous metal-organic framework material, the material comprising at least one at least bidentate organic compound coordinated to at least one metal ion; (B) from 0.1 wt.-% to 49 wt.-% based on the total weight of the film of at least one fibrillated fluoropolymer; and (C) 0 wt.-% to 48.9 wt.-% based on the total weight of the film of an additive component. The invention further relates to a composition for preparing such a film and its use.
