We developed a bidentate monoanionic nitrogen ligand that was effective in the Pd-catalyzed oxidativehomo-coupling reaction of acrylates and aromatic alkenes. In the presence of Pd(OAc)2/ligand several conjugated dienes were obtained in good yields with high stereoselectivities.
