    A polyisocyanate composition having a low viscosity and having excellent dispersibility in water and being capable of forming a coating film having excellent solvent resistance in a case of being used in an aqueous paint composition and being capable of forming a coating film having excellent weather fastness in a case of being used in a polyaspartic paint composition is provided. The polyisocyanate composition that is obtained from aliphatic diisocyanate including HDI and has an isocyanurate group and an iminooxadiazinedione group, in which a ratio (A / (A + B)) of a molar weight (A) of an isocyanurate trimer represented by Formula (I) with respect to a total molar weight (A + B) of the molar weight (A) of the isocyanurate trimer and a molar weight (B) of iminooxadiazinedione trimer represented by Formula (II) is 0.1 to 0.9, and a ratio (C) of a molar weight of a pentamer represented by Formula (III) with respect to a total molar weight of a pentamer of the aliphatic diisocyanate included in the polyisocyanate composition is A × B × 2 × 0.9 or more.

    The present invention relates to a polyisocyanate composition comprising a formation component having isocyanate groups, the isocyanate groups having been reacted to an extent of ≥98% with at least one CH-acidic compound, characterized in that the formation component consists to an extent of ≥51% by weight of at least one polyisocyanate based on pentamethylene 1,5-diisocyanate having a content of isocyanurate trimer of ≤60 area %, based on the total weight of the polyisocyanates based on pentamethylene 1,5-diisocyanate, and the remaining proportion up to 100% by weight of the total amount of polyisocyanates present in the formation component consists of at least one aliphatic or cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate. The present invention further provides a one-component system comprising the polyisocyanate composition, a process for producing a coating on a substrate, and the coatings obtainable from the one-component system.
