  Disclosed is a UV absorber mixture, comprising (a) 1 % to 60 % of a micronised UV broadband absorber of formula wherein R1 is C1-C12alkyl; or phenyl-substituted C1-C12alkyl; and (b) 1% to 60 % by weight of a water dispersible and/or oil-dispersible coated titanium dioxide. The UV absorber mixture shows synergistic effect with respect to the UPF.
