The present invention provides a novel polyoxyethylene derivative having plural hydroxyl groups at a terminal end thereof, particularly a polyoxyethylene derivative having plural hydroxyl groups at a terminal end thereof, which can be effectively used in uses for modifying bio-related substances and can be industrially produced.
A polyoxyethylene derivative represented by the formula (1) :
wherein a whole molecular weight of the polyoxyethylene derivative is 500 to 160, 000; n is 5 to 3650; L1, L2, and L3 each independently represent an alkylene group, a phenylene group, an ester bond, an amide bond, an ether bond, a urethane bond, a carbonate bond, a secondary amino group, or a combination thereof; X represents a functional group capable of reacting with a bio-related substance; Y represents a hydrophilic group having plural hydroxyl groups made from a residual group of xylitol or volemitol or a residual group of polyglycerin of trimer to 31-mer; Z represents a residual group of a compound having 2 to 5 active hydrogen atoms; b and c are as follows: 1≤b≤4, 1≤c≤4, and 2≤b+c≤5; and d and e each independently are 0 or 1.

其中,聚氧乙烯衍生物的全分子量为 500 至 160,000;n 为 5 至 3650;L1、L2 和 L3 各自独立地代表亚烷基、亚苯基、酯键、酰胺键、醚键、聚氨酯键、碳酸酯键、仲氨基或它们的组合;X 代表能与生物相关物质反应的官能团; Y 代表具有多个羟基的亲水基团,由木糖醇或 Volemitol 的残留基团或三聚体至 31 聚体的聚甘油的残留基团构成; Z 代表具有 2 至 5 个活性氢原子的化合物的残留基团; b 和 c 如下:1≤b≤4,1≤c≤4,2≤b+c≤5;d和e各自独立地为0或1。
