  The preliminary results of a simple and versatile one-pot procedure for the preparation of 3-substituted 1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a] pyridines and 1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazines are described. Intramolecular cyclization of nitrile imine ylides are carried out by treatment of 2-pyridyl- and 3-pyridazinylhydrazones with chloramine T.
