Anomalous facile carbon–nitrogen bond cleavage in novel diastereoisomers of the ethylenediaminetetra-3-propionatochromate(<scp>III</scp>) ion

Diastereoisomers of three ethylenediaminetetra-3-propionatochromate(III) ions and the (S)-propane-1,2-diamine analogues, have been synthesized and characterized by 2H n.m.r. and circular dichroism (c.d.) spectroscopy; a facile C–N bondcleavage occurs during decomposition on heating at 60 °C, and this process was followed by spectroscopy.
合成了三个乙二胺四-3-丙酸酯铬酸盐(III)离子和(S)-丙烷-1,2-二胺类似物的非对映异构体,并通过2 H nmr和圆二色性(cd)进行了表征;在60°C加热分解过程中,容易发生C–N键断裂,然后进行光谱分析。

Improved synthetic methodology for the synthesis of internally branched chiral poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrons and dendrimers has been developed and the compounds have been characterized by NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and optical rotation measurements. The dendrons and dendrimers show increased degree of internal hydrogen bonding upon increasing generation and the presence of different types of amide-protons in the compounds is indicative of the existence of a tertiary structure in these PAMAM-dendrimers.
