  The reaction of alpha-fluorosubstituted polynitroalkylaldimines with HCl results in replacement of the fluorine atom by a chlorine atom. The hitherto unknown alpha-chlorosubstituted polynitroalkylaldimines have been obtained, and their X-ray structural investigation has been performed.
