Several new bridged trinuclear complexes of the general formula RSi[η5-C5H4M(CO)nR1]3, have been prepared in good yield from the reaction of the lithiated compounds (η5-C5H4Li)M(CO)nR1 (M = Mn, W, Fe; R1 = Me, Et, and benzyl) with various alkyl trichlorosilanes.
