  AbstractDie Synthese von Anhydro‐lycomarasminsäure (VII) führte zur endgültigen Bestätigung der früher für Lycomarasmin analytisch abgeleiteten Konstitution. Die Ermittlung der absoluten Konfiguration im Diaminopropionsäureteil am C‐5 (vgl. Formel VII) des Lycomarasmins scheiterte an der Herstellung der bereits bekannten S‐(−)‐Piperaz‐2‐on‐5‐carbonsäure, bzw. ihres Antipoden, an deren Stelle das Diketopiperazon XVI, die Aminosäure XV und als Nebenprodukt der α,β‐Diacetamido‐acrylsäure‐methylester (X, bzw. XII, bzw. XIII) erhalten wurden.
