  The highly diastereoselective addition of allylzinc bromide to imines derived from (R)-phenylglycine amide is reported. Homoallylamines with high enantiomeric purity are obtained from the adducts in three steps on removal of the chiral auxiliary by means of a nonreductive protocol.
