A series of 2-substituted-2-fluoro-1,3-dioxygenated chiral building blocks are synthesized via a chemoenzymatic route using either (i) lipase catalyzed monohydrolysis of suitably functionalized malonic diesters, or (ii) lipase catalyzed monoacetylation of suitably functionalized 1,3-propanediols. (EN) A process for the preparation of an ester, especially fluorinated esters R1O.OC-CFR2-CO.OR3.R1 and R3 are each independently selected from alkyl, cycloalkyl and aryl. R2 is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl. The method includes the steps of covering a corresponding compound of formula 2: R1O.OC-CHR2-CO.OR3 in the presence of a base, of salt of a compound of formula 2, into corresponding compound of formula 1 by the reaction of elemental fluorine.(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de préparer des esters, notamment des esters fluorés R1O.OC-CFR2-CO. R1 et R3 sont sélectionnés chacun indépendamment l'un de l'autre entre alkyle, cycloalkyle et aryle. R2 est sélectionné entre hydrogène, alkyle et cycloalkyle. Le procédé comprend la conversion d'un composé correspondant de la formule 2: R1O.OC-CHR2-CO.OR3 en présence d'une base ou d'un sel d'un composé de la formule 2, en un composé correspondant de la formule 1, par réaction du fluor élémentaire.
