  已制成一系列三个氟苄基标签和三种丙烯酸酯的所有可能组合。将得到的丙烯酸酯以三个为一组（每个标签一个）合并，并使得到的混合物在标准条件下与四种硫醇的混合物反应以进行共轭物加成。通过氟代hplc对所得文库的分析显示，基于标签的一级分离，并显示基于硫醇和丙烯酸酯的可靠二级分离。一次分离和二次分离在制备性“混合物混合物”实验中一起使用，在该实验中，一种标记的丙烯酸酯混合物与三种硫醇的混合物反应。将所得的九种组分混合物通过氟和反相hplc进行混合，然后脱标签，以得到纯净形式的所有九种最终产物。
