The 3-methoxycarbonyl-5-ethoxycarbonylpyrazole group in the title molecule, 3-methyl 5-ethyl 1-[2,2,2-trichloro-1-(ethoxycarbonylamino)ethyl]pyraxole-3,5- dicarboxylate, is almost planar. The least-squares plane of the pyrazole ring makes an angle of 126.0 (2)degrees with that of the aminocarboxylate group. Bond lengths and angles are very similar to those published previously for related compounds. The molecules form dimers, related to one another by a twofold axis and linked by two N-H...O hydrogen bonds [3.128 (4) Angstrom, 158 (4)degrees].
