The palladium-catalyzed allylation reaction of trifluoroalanine derivatives with various allyl carbonates was examined. When N-Cbz-protected alanine derivative was employed, the desired C-monoallylated product was obtained in good yield, together with C,N-diallylated and N-monoallylated ones.
