This allowed a systematic study of the reactivity of the transient aza‐oxonium ylide intermediate, which can undergo N−O bond cleavage followed by nitrene C−H insertion, and the formation of β‐lactams or isoxazolidinones upon varying the structure of the alkene or O‐isocyanate reagents.

agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals. Here, we present the synthesis of borylated bicyclo[2.1.1]hexanes via crossed [2 + 2]-cycloaddition. Due to the presence of the C–B bond, a variety of structures can be easily prepared that are not accessible by other methods. Moreover, a rare photo-ene reaction is also disclosed, allowing for the diastereoselective synthesis of trisubstituted borylated cyclopentanes.

An efficient cyclization for the synthesis of 1,2,4,5-tetra-substituted benzenes via copper catalyzed dimerization of γ,δ-unsaturated ketones has been described. This one-pot procedure employs the γ,δ-unsaturated ketones as the sole substrate with multiple C–C bond formation. This protocol features broad substrate scope and provides a facile and robust method to construct polysubstituted benzene derivatives
