    A resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a resin component selected from (a) an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A-1 component) obtained by melt polymerization and, when measured for fluorescent spectrum at an exciting wavelength of 320 nm, having a relative fluorescence intensity of 4x10-3 or less at 465 nm relative to a standard substance, (b) a resin mixture of said A-1 component and a styrene-based resin (A-2 component), and (c) a resin mixture of said A-1 component and an aromatic polyester resin (A-3 component), and 5 to 200 parts by weight of a reinforcing filler. This resin composition gives a molded article superior in wet heat fatigue and various physical properties.

    The present invention relates to a polycarbonate resin molding material for optical use which contains substances (A) having a 5 % weight reduction start temperature measured by thermogravimetric analysis of 400°C or less in a total amount of 1 wt% or less and to a polycarbonate resin molding material for optical use which contains substances (A) having a 5 % weight reduction start temperature measured by thermogravimetric analysis of 400°C or less in a total amount of 1 wt% or less and a sodium compound in an amount of 1 ppm or less in terms of metal sodium. The present invention also relates to optical disk substrates formed from these molding materials.     A vibration-damping thermoplastic resin composition comprising (a) 50 to 90 wt% of an amorphous thermoplastic resin (component A) having a loss tangent (tan δ) value of 0.01 to 0.04 and a deflection temperature under load of not lower than 120°C and (b) 50 to 10 wt% of a methyl methacrylate resin (component B), wherein an article molded from the resin composition has the following physical properties (1) to (4), i.e., (1) a loss factor of 0.04 to 0.08, (2) a water absorption of not higher than 0.30 wt%, (3) a specific gravity of 1.05 to 1.3, and (4) a deflection temperature under load of 110 to 170°C; and an article molded therefrom. According to the present invention, a thermoplastic resin composition and an article molded therefrom which are excellent in vibration dampability as well as dimensional accuracy, rigidity and heat resistance and are light in weight, is provided.

    A regenerated resin composition comprising (I) a molded article pulverized material (Component A) that satisfies conditions (1) that the molded article pulverized material is a pulverized material of a molded article having an aromatic polycarbonate resin content of 30 to 98 % by weight, (2) that the pulverized material has a viscosity average molecular weight of 17,000 to 30,000, and (3) that the pulverized material has a wet heat retention ratio of at least 60 %, and (II) an aromatic polycarbonate resin (Component B). According to the present invention, there is provided a regenerated resin composition that comprises a pulverized material from a molded article made of an aromatic polycarbonate resin and that is excellent in the property of retaining physical properties for a long period of time and excellent in mechanical strength.
