This chemistry, in which diaryl(((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)oxy)phosphines as a kind of electrophilic phosphination reagents are in situ generated from diarylphosphine oxides, provides an efficient and mild approach for the synthesis of aromatic organophosphorus compounds.
