acetylcholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase. It has been shown that the choline fragments of the above-mentioned carbamates and their β-methylcholine analogs are reversible inhibitors of both cholinesterases and make a substantial contribution to the anticholinesterase activity. Selective inhibitors of ACE and BuCE have been found among the compounds synthesized.
