Novel tetrahydro-1,3,5-thiadiazin-4-ones represented by general formula (I)
wherein each of R1 and R2 represents a halogen atom or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R3 represents a halogen atom, or a lower alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, lower cycloalkyl having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, lower alkoxy having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, acetyl, phenoxy, halo-substituted phenoxy, benzyl, benzyloxy, phenylcarbonyl or trifluoromethyl group, m represents 0, 1, 2 or 3, and n represents 0, 1 or 2; or their salts. The novel compounds of formula (I) or their salts are useful as an active ingredient of an insecticide. These thiadiazines are produced by reacting a compound of general formula (II)
wherein R1 and m are as defined above, with a compound represented by general formula (III)
wherein R2, R3 and n are as defined above.
