  A green synthesis of variously substituted biphenyl carboxylic acids was achieved through Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling of a bromobenzoic acid with an aryl boronic acid using a water-soluble fullerene-supported PdCl₂ nanocatalyst (C₆₀-TEGs/PdCl₂).
