  (EN) This invention relates to a compound of formula (I) namely [2-(2,6-dimethlphenoxy)-1-methylethyl]ethylamine and its pharmacetically acceptable salts thereof, to racemic and non-racemic mixtures thereof, and in particular to its $i((R))-enantiomer. The compound of Formula (I) is a sodium channel blocker, and thus exhibits useful pharmacological properties, especially utility for the alleviation of neuropathic pain.(FR) L'invention concerne un composé de la formule (I), à savoir, [2-(2,6-diméthylphénoxy)-1-méthyléthyl]éthylamine et les sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ce dernier, et des mélanges racémiques et non racémiques de celui-ci, et en particulier, son $i((R))-énantiomère. Le composé selon la formule (I) est un inhibiteur sodique, et présente ainsi des propriétés pharmacologiques utiles, en particulier, pour soulager les douleurs neuropathiques.
