    An aromatic amine derivative having a specific structure, an organic electroluminescence device, and an electronic equipment are provided. The organic electroluminescence device includes organic thin film layers which include a light emitting layer and are disposed between a cathode and an anode. At least one layer of the organic thin film layers includes the aromatic amine derivative. The organic electroluminescence device can be operated at low driving voltage and has high efficiency. The compound achieves the above organic electroluminescence device.

    Provided is an organic EL device, including: an anode; a cathode; and an organic thin-film layer provided between the anode and the cathode, in which: the organic thin-film layer has a light emitting layer containing a host material and a light emitting material, and a hole transporting layer; and the hole transporting layer has a first hole transporting layer and a second hole transporting layer in the stated order from the anode; the first hole transporting layer contains a specific amine compound; and the second hole transporting layer contains a specific amine compound; or the hole transporting layer has a layer containing a specific electron acceptable compound and a first hole transporting layer; and the first hole-transporting layer contains a specific amine compound. The organic EL device has a reduced driving voltage, high luminous efficiency, and excellent practicality.

    An organic electroluminescence device contains an anode and a cathode facing each other, and intervening therebetween at least two hole transporting layers and a light emitting layer sequentially, and one of the hole transporting layers contains a compound having a particular structure having a fluorene structure at the center thereof, and is not adjacent to the light emitting layer. The organic electroluminescence device has a hole transporting layer having an increased thickness, is capable of being controlled in the thickness of the optical film, and has an enhanced device capability.

    An organic EL device that has a high efficiency and a long service life, an electronic apparatus containing the organic EL device, and a compound capable of providing the organic EL device. The compound is specifically represented by the following general formula (1): wherein in the general formula (1), Ar 1 represents an organic group A represented by the following general formula (A-1); Ar 2 represents the organic group A or an organic group B represented by the following general formula (B-1); and Ar 3 represents the organic group B or an organic group C represented by the following general formula (C-1), provided that in the case where both Ar 1 and Ar 2 are the organic groups A, the organic groups A may be the same as or different from each other, in the general formula (A-1), R 1 and R 2 each represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group, and R 1 and R 2 may be bonded to each other to form a hydrocarbon ring; R 3 to R 6 each represent an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or an aryl group; and a, b, c and d each independently represent an integer of from 0 to 2, provided that R 3 and R 4 may be bonded to each other to forma hydrocarbon ring; and in the case where a or b is 2, adjacent groups of R 3 or adjacent groups of R 4 may be bonded to each other to form a hydrocarbon ring, in the general formula (B-1), Ar 4 and Ar 5 each represent an arylene group; Ar 6 represents an aryl group; R 7 to R 9 each represent an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or an aryl group; e, f and g each represent an integer of from 0 to 2; and h and i each represent 0 or 1, provided that R 7 to R 9 may be bonded to each other to forma hydrocarbon ring; and in the case where e, f or g is 2, adjacent groups of R 7 , adjacent groups of R 8 or adjacent groups of R 9 may be bonded to each other to form a hydrocarbon ring, in the general formula (C-1), Ar 7 represents an aryl group; R 10 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or an aryl group; and j represents an integer of from 0 to 2, provided that in the case where j is 2, adjacent groups of R 10 may be bonded to each other to form a hydrocarbon ring.
