Catalytic enantioselective conjugate addition (ECA) reactions with readily accessible and stereochemically defined E‐, Z‐, di‐ and trisubstituted alkenyl aluminum compounds are disclosed. Transformations are promoted by various NHC‐copper catalysts (NHC=N‐heterocyclic carbene), which are derived from enantiomerically pure sulfonate imidazolinium salts.
