A nickel(II) complex of acetylpyrazine 4N-dimethylthiosemicarbazone, [Ni(Pz4DM)2], has been synthesized and characterized by its spectral properties. Its crystal structure shows the two ligands coordinated in a mer-configuration and bond lengths and angles are compared with other thiosemicarbazone complexes. The complex, in contrast to the uncoordinated thiosemicarbazone, shows no growth inhibition
