ring-opened hydrosilylated adducts through carbon–carbon (C–C) bond cleavage of the cyclopropane ring. The regioselectivity of the addition of silanes (linear or branched) can be switched by changing the monophosphine ligand. This C–C bond cleavage/hydrosilylation methodology is applicable to the synthesis of silanediol precursors.
An electrochemical method is presented to construct 1,3-oxazines by the oxidative ring-opening of cyclopropylamides with alcohols. This method avoids the use of external oxidants and thus shows good functional group tolerance. The substrate scope covers primary, secondary, and tertiary alcohols as well as (hetero)aryl amide-substituted cyclopropanes.

We synthesized a single-atom iron catalyst (Fe-SA@NC), which exhibits good conversion efficiency in organic electro oxidation as an advanced redox mediator. This study provides valuable insights into the design of catalytic systems for organic tandem reactions from an inorganic chemistry aspect.
