A convenient method for C-S cross-coupling of aryl bromides with various thiols has been developed that involves the use of a 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (DPPF)-ligated palladium complex with N,N-diisopropylethylamine (DIPEA) as the base.
