Eight new pentavalent organobismuth derivatives were synthesized by the reactions of triphenylbismuth or phenyl-2,2"-biphenylenebismuth with chiral (1R)-(–)-camphor-10-sulfonic, (–)-menthyloxyacetic, or (R)-3-phenylbutyric acids.
