Bis-Cinnolines as n-Type Semiconducting Material with High Electron Mobility and Thermal Stability and their Application in Organic Photovoltaic Cells

Several bis‐cinnoline derivatives were found to act as a new class of n‐type amorphous organic material. They exhibit high electron‐drift mobility up to the order of 10−3 cm2V−1 s−1 and high thermal stability, and therefore are useful as a cathode buffer layer in thin‐layer organic solar cells.
