  The present invention relates to novel heterocyclic derivatives of the formula Ar--W--Het wherein Ar, W and Het are as defined below, and related compounds, pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds, and the use of such compounds as regulators of the action of angiotensin II in mammals.
