  A series of hydroxamic acid ethoxycarbonylhydrazides was obtained by reactions of ester ethoxycarbonylhydrazones with hydroxylamine. The corresponding 3-substituted 4-hydroxy-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazol-5-ones were synthesized by cyclization of these hydroxamic acid derivatives in basic medium.

  Palladium(II) and platinum(II), (IV) complexes with N-1-acylacetamidrazones (L1-L5) and N-1-acyl-2-phenylacetamidrazones (L6-L9) are described. The complexes have been prepared by reaction of the corresponding metal chloride with the ligand in the required stoichiometrical ratio and were characterized by chemical analyses and physical measurements.
