12-Tungstophosphoric acid (H 3 PW 12 O 40 )has been found to be an efficient and recyclable catalyst in promotingroom temperature Michael additions of amines and aryl thiols to α,β-unsaturated estersand acrylonitrile in water to afford the corresponding saturatedamines in good to excellent yields.
very simple conjugate addition of aromatic and aliphatic amines to α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds under solvent-free conditions in the presence of catalytic amount of silicontetrachloride is reported. The reaction of aryl and alkyl amines with different Michael acceptors gave the corresponding Michael adducts with simple catalyst and good to excellent yields.
A functionalizedionicliquid, 3‐(N,N‐dimethyldodecylammonium) propanesulfonic acid hydrogen sulphate ([DDPA][HSO4]) has been used as catalyst for the aza‐Michael reactions of aromaticamines with α,β‐unsaturated compounds at room temperature to produce β‐amino compounds in good yields. The catalyst can be reused for several times without obvious loss of the catalytic activity.

Abstract The present study carried out the synthesis of β-amino estercompounds using lipase immobilized on hyroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HMC) support. Initially various lipases (biocatalysts) from different origin were immobilized and subsequently screened to obtain the robust biocatalyst. The lipase Pseudomonas fluorescence (PFL) immobilized on HMC was displayed highest lipase activity, protein
