  Selective carboxylic acid decarboxylation was elaborated. Generation of acyltrifluoroacetyl peroxides from carboxylic peracids and trifluoroacetyl anhydride (Method A), as well as from trifluoroperacetic acid and acyltrifluoroacetyl anhydride (Method B), leads to simultaneous peroxide decomposition into the corresponding alkyltrifluoroacetates.
