The new η3-silaallyl/alkenylsilyl molybdenum complex Cp*Mo(CO)2(η3-Ph2SiCHCMe2) (3) was synthesized by the reaction of Cp*Mo(CO)2(py)Me with Ph2HSiCH═CMe2.
