  Concise methods for the synthesis of 4-hydroxy-3-[2H3]-methoxyphenylalanine (3-O-[2H3]-methydopa) and 3-hydroxy-4-[2H3]-methoxyphenylalanine (4-O-[2H3]-methydopa) are described.
