(2S)-2-(2-[1,4-dihydro-3,5-bis(methoxycarbonyl)-2,6-dimethyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)pyridin-1-yl]-2-oxoethyl}amino)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl) propanoic acid (3a) and its analogues 3b-j has been synthesized.
