describe a novel peptide ligation/desulfurization strategy using [small beta]-mercapto-N-glycosylated asparagine derivative. The newly developed procedure is successfully applied to total chemical synthesis of GM2ganglioside activator protein bearing a monosaccharide...
analogues of trypsininhibitor SFTI-1 was synthesized by the solid phase method. In these analogues disulfidebridge Cys3 - Cys11 present in native inhibitor was replaced by different-sized carbonyl bridges formed by the amino groups of the side chain of Lys, Orn, Dab or Dap located in positions 3 and/or 11. All analogues appeared to be potent trypsininhibitors. The values of association equilibrium

Flow chemistry has emerged as an integral process within the chemical sector permitting energy efficient synthetic scale-up while improving safety and minimising solvent usage. Herein, we report the first applications of the photoactivated, radical-mediated thiol–ene reaction for peptide bioconjugation undercontinuousflow. Bioconjugation reactions employing deep eutectic solvents, bio-based solvents

The shelterin protein TRF2 has come to the limelight for its role in telomere maintenance and tumorigenesis. Herein, the application of rational design and synthesis allowed identifying the first TRF2(TRFH) binder able to elicit a marked DNA damage response in cancer cells. This work paves the way for the unprecedented employment of a chemical tool to finely tune specific mechanisms underlying telomere maintenance.
