    Indicators providing highly sensitive and functional group specific fluorescent response to diisopropyl fluorophosphate (DFP, a nerve gas (G-agent) simulant) are reported. Nonemissive indicator 2 reacts with DFP to give a cyclized compound 2+A- that shows a high emission due to its highly planar and rigid structure. Very weak emission was observed by the addition of HCl. Another indicator based on pyridyl naphthalene exhibits a large shift in its emission spectrum after reaction with DFP, which provides for quantitative ratiometric detection.

    The present invention relates to a method and a device for the electrical detection and/or quantification of organophosphorus compounds present in gaseous form or in solution in a solvent. A device for detecting and/or quantifying organophosphorus compounds, comprising an electrical device comprising a source electrode and a drain electrode separated by a semiconductive material, characterized in that at least one receptor molecule, comprising a group R and a primary alcohol in spatial proximity to a tertiary amine, with which the primary alcohol is capable of reacting in the presence of an organophosphorus compound, is grafted, by means of the group R, onto one of the electrodes or onto the semiconductive material, and a device for detecting the variation in positive charges between the two electrodes.

    The invention relates to an apparatus and method for detecting and/or quantifying compounds of interest present in gaseous form or dissolved in a solvent. The apparatus according to the invention includes an electrical device including two electrodes, and a device for measuring the variation in charges between the two electrodes of the electrical device. The electrical device includes a layer made of an insulating dielectric material onto which a layer of receptor molecules is grafted, and finally, a layer of semiconductor material is deposited onto the receptor molecule layer. The invention can be used in the field of detecting and/or quantifying compounds of interest present, in particular, in a gas or in a solution.

    The present invention relates to a method and device for the detecting and/or electrically quantifying organophosphorus compounds as a gas or solution. The device includes: an electrical device including a source electrode and a drain electrode, separated by a semiconductor material; and a device for detecting positive charges between the two electrodes. One surface of the semiconductor material is in contact with a polymer material having at least one receptor group including: 1) a function X capable of reacting with the detectable organophosphorus compound, to form an intermediate grouping —Z; and 2) a function Y capable of reacting with —Z to form a positively charged ring. The polymer material includes molecular imprint cavities, with geometrical and chemical configuration allowing the detectable organophosphorus compounds to penetrate into said polymer material. The invention can be used in the field of detecting and/or quantifying organophosphorus compounds.
