Disclosed herein are aztreonam derivatives, therapeutic methods of using the aztreonam derivatives, particularly in combination with β-lactamase inhibitors, and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. The aztreonam derivatives can be administered orally to provide orally bioavailable aztreonam.

Chiral Tetraaryl‐ and Tetraalkynylborates as Chiral Solvating Agents for Tetraalkylammonium Salts

Tetracarbon‐substituted chiral borate sodium salts (NaBR*4) act as chiral solvating agents for various tetraalkylammoniumsalts (R4NX). The ee values of the R4NX species could be determined by 1H NMR analysis of ion‐exchanged diastereomeric tetraalkylammonium borate salts.
