  Heterocyclic compounds of formula (I) and acid addition salts thereof inhibit arachidonic acid oxygenation and are useful in medicine, for example as anti-inflammatory agents. ##STR1## The compounds of formula (I) may be prepared by any method analogous to those known in the art, for example by the method of G.
